With a degree in Ancient History, there wasnt much else Eric could do except jump into the world of travel and tourism.
He has been a tourguide for 11 years, having kicked off his career as one of Edinburgh's "Jumper Ooters" (one who jumps out), haunting the closes and dark streets of the Old Town. Since 2012, he has branched out to incorporate the whole of Scotland, particularly the wee hidden gems that not many get to see.
Alongside this, Eric has been involved with film and TV through the BBB's appearing in Outlaw King, WWE, Game of Thrones, Star Wars Andor and Good Omens Season 2.
Charlie 'Chick' Allan is a Scottish Fight Director, Combat Coordinator, Choreographer and Actor who has worked on various productions starting with BBC Ivanhoe in 1995.
He starred as the Barbarian Leader in Gladiator (2000), King Arthur (2004 & 2017), Robin Hood (2010), Thor 2 (2013), Transformers 5 (2017), Outlaw King (2018) and most recently Ridley Scott’s “The Last Duel” as well as various BBC TV documentaries and Netflix original productions to name a few.
Trained in various martial arts from an early age he combined his love for Scottish Culture and Heritage with research of western historic weaponry.
His early experiences on set urged him to put together a team of combat performers and fight stunt crew in 1995, known today as Combat International.
The founder and current CEO of the Clanranald Trust for Scotland, he and his professional team of men and women are sought after by well-known names in the film and stunt industry.
His dream was always to create a platform for in-house talent and productions, which is now the future of the team.
Outlander
Chick Allan has been involved with the production of Outlander since its beginning in 2014 not only appearing in it himself during the training prior to the battle of Preston Pans but supplying combatants, historic advisors, SA’s as well as personally teaching Sam and Graham whom he’s known for 25 years how to wear, ride and move in the fèileadh mòr, the great Scottish plaid.
Chick Allan also appeared in S1 ep 6 of Men in Kilts as well as receiving a hilarious feature Sam and Graham’s Clanlands book.
Chara Gallos-Allan is a Transylvanian Costumier, Actress, Set Dresser, Audio Book Narrator and wife to Charlie Allan.
Currently the Head of Casting & Costume for the Clanranald Trust for Scotland, she
has worked closely with Combat International supplying talent for Outlander Season 7.
With a wide range of historical and fantastical costumes at her disposal,
and a Clanranald team consisting of professional Seamstresses, Historical Advisors and Designers, she oversees over 4000 costume and prop items spanning across early Roman and Pictish times, through to the Wars of Independence and Jacobean Era and even an array of Fantasy / Modern and Military catering to Film and TV as well as luxury corporate and private hire.
Her film and Tv work include Netflix’s Norsemen, Outlaw King, BBC Lucy Worsley’s History’s Greatest Fibbs, BBC Rise of Clans, BBC Blood of Clans, Amazon Prime’s Unearthed Ancient Murder Mysteries Ep 1-4 and the Warhammer Indie film Chaos Rising.

Iain MacGillivray, a seasoned and accomplished Scottish Celtic musician, hails from a family with a deep-rooted piping legacy. With a remarkable journey in the world of music, Iain's melodious expertise resonates through his work. A distinguished member of the renowned Tanahill Weavers band, he not only contributes his musical prowess to the ensemble but also crafts his own compelling compositions under his own music labels- Celtic Streams and I.D.MacG.
In 2016, Iain MacGillivray achieved an extraordinary feat by being unanimously elected as the Clan Commander of Clan MacGillivray, etching his name as the youngest clan commander in the annals of Scottish clan history. His strong connection to his heritage and tradition is evident not only through his music but also through his leadership role.
Iain's captivating bagpiping skills have garnered widespread recognition, leading him to make significant contributions to the world of television. His hauntingly beautiful melodies have graced the Outlander TV series, and his profound knowledge of bagpiping and its history earned him a prominent spot on the Outlander spin-off series, "Men in Kilts." Iain MacGillivray's musical journey has extended beyond the stage and screen. Beyond his contributions to the Tanahill Weavers and his solo compositions, Iain's expertise in the realm of Scottish Celtic music has made him a sought-after performer for a variety of occasions as well as a musician in residence at Glenmorangie Whisky Ltd. His enchanting melodies have graced festivals, weddings, and various private events, where his mastery of the bagpipes and his rich musical heritage have added a touch of tradition and elegance to these special moments. Whether on grand stages or intimate gatherings, Iain's musical prowess continues to captivate audiences across a diverse range of settings.
Mark MIlner-Cameron was born and raised in the North East of Scotland, where his passion for performing and dance began. Starting his training at the Edinburgh’s Telford College, Mark then continued on to London Studio Centre to finish his dance training.
He has performed all over the world from Paris, Tokyo, Florida, Australia, Europe and the UK. He recently has been working with “Follow Your Dreams” dance competitions as a judge for there UK tour dates and is excited to be attending nationals in London. He has been seen on HMT stage as part of QDOS Pantomines as one of the dancers and cover Captain Hook and has been part of the Qdos family for over 4 years now. He was able to play the role of Prince Charming a few years ago in Cinderella . He is has recently worked on projects for Beyond Broadway production, Make a wish, RGU University, Befriend A child and many other corporate and professional events. At this moment in time Mark has moved his focus over to Casting for TV and Film where he runs an agency for Youngsters called Cameron Kids associates. Not only does he book youngsters but he works for another agency booking adults call The BBB Talent Agency. With this change in career path mark has had the pleasure of being seen in a multitude of films and tv shows such as “Castle for Christmas” “Princess Switch” “Outlander” and much much more
Mark started his professional career working for Disneyland Paris in the world premier of Animagique. He also was a dancer/aerialist in Tarzan, Encore and The Lion King in Tokyo Disney and Florida. Mark has danced around the world with cruise lines such as Celebrity Cruises, Transocean Tours, Princess Cruises and P&O Australia as a dancer/dancer singer and dance captain. He worked with Cirque de Soleil in Las Vegas, Michael Curry in Paris, William Forsyth in Australia and was Dance Captain on the “Best of the Musicals” Germany Tour. Mark has choreographed for many Scottish and UK companies.
